Telegram Web is a cloud-based application of Telegram that you can use to quickly send and receive Telegram messages right from your desktop. The messages are synced across all your devices.
How to log in to Telegram Web by QR Code?
- Open a browser and type https://web.telegram.org in the address bar.
- Open Telegram on your phone.
- Select Settings > Devices > Link Desktop Device.
- Scan the QR code and you will be logged in to Telegram Web.
How to log in to Telegram Web by Phone Number?
- Open a browser and type https://web.telegram.org in the address bar.
- Select your country, enter your phone number, and click Next.
- Enter the login code and you will be logged in to Telegram Web.
How to log out from Telegram Web?

- Open Telegram Web.
- Click on ☰ Menu and select Settings.
- Click on the ⋮ three dots icon and select Log Out.

- Open Telegram app.
- Select Settings > Devices.
- Select a device and click Terminate Session.
You can also terminate all other sessions or automatically terminate old sessions if inactive for the selected period.
If Telegram Web is not working
- Check your internet connection: Telegram Web requires an active internet connection to function. Check for any network outages and that you have sufficient internet balance. Restart your router, reconnect to the Wi-Fi network, and try again.
- Establish a new Telegram Web session: Log out of the Telegram Web application and log in again. This will establish a new session and may resolve any minor issues.
- Check Telegram server status: If Telegram is down due to a server outage, you will be not able to access the web app temporarily. Use a site status service such as Downdetector to check for any such outages.
- Clear browser cache and cookies: First confirm if Telegram Web is working on a different browser. Any old browser data or page misconfiguration may conflict with the functionality of the web page. To revert to the default settings, remove the site data and reset permissions.
- Change VPN settings: Telegram application is blocked in multiple countries as a result if you are accessing Telegram from a restricted country you will be unable to use the app.
